EVERY SAINT HAS A PAST (PART ELEVEN)

HH, Sir Godfrey Gregg D.Div

Now that we have arrived at this particular point, having considered the PAST and the PRESENT, what about the FUTURE?  Is there anything that David, you, and this writer, might EXPECT as an outcome once RECONCILIATION [Unification with GOD] Has Been Established By GOD?  Let us read the following words:

Psalm 23:1  “THE LORD Is my Shepherd; I shall NOT want.”

“He Maketh me to lie down in green pastures: HE Leadedth me beside the still waters.”

“HE Restoreth my soul [life]: HE Leadeth me In the Paths of Righteousness [Right-Living] For HIS Name’s Sake.”

“Yea, though I walk through The Valley of The Shadow of Death, I will fear no evil: for THOU Art With me; THY Rod and THY Staff They Comfort me.”

“THOU Preparest A Table before me in the presence of mine enemies: THOU Anointest my head with Oil; my Cup runneth over.”

“Surely Goodness and Mercy Shall Follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in The House of THE LORD Forever.”

Aside from the obvious things that this writer has shared with Brethren of the Great Mystical Order in a previous study on this 23rd Psalm, what do you discover in the words of these verses?  It should be this: David’s FOCUS is now centered ONLY upon [YAHVEH] GOD; there is absolutely NO direct thought of himself, as his Pride, Arrogance, and Vanity, Have Been Stripped Away By GOD.  We see that David begins with a consideration of “THE LORD”; his words are, then, replete with “HE”, “THY”, “THOU”, and then, he sums it all up into a neat package by making mention of “THE LORD”, once again.  Do you see that it becomes ALL About [YAHVEH] GOD?

Psalm 32:1  “Blessed is he whose transgression Is Forgiven, whose sin Is Covered.”

“Blessed is the man unto whom THE LORD Imputed [Applies] NOT iniquity [sin], and in whose spirit there is no guile [deception; trickery; pretense; falsehood].”

And now, today’s Study will be CONTINUED TOMORROW …
