There is a green hill far away,
outside a city wall,
where our dear Lord was crucified
who died to save us all.

We may not know, we cannot tell,
what pains he had to bear,
but we believe it was for us
he hung and suffered there.

He died that we might be forgiven,
he died to make us good,
that we might go at last to heaven,
saved by his precious blood.

There was no other good enough
to pay the price of sin,
he only could unlock the gate
of heaven and let us in.

O dearly, dearly has he loved!
And we must love him too,
and trust in his redeeming blood,
and try his works to do.

What have you done for the first weekend in Lent? Did you take time to pray or read the Word of God? Did you attend Church or engaged in some activity that lifted your spirit and the life of another? Did you lift up the Ministers of The Mystical Order in your services. Have we reached out to some weary soul and beckon that they come to the saving grace of God? I am sure you did your best and now it is time to wait and see the blessings come down on you in this new week.

Being a Christian is devoting your life to God and every move you make in your walk of life. The air we breathe, the places we go, the friends we keep, and the words we speak are recorded and and stand accountable to God. The recording angels are ever present reporting on us.

We are a called out people and set aside for a specific purpose. We are to fulfill the mission and promises of God in this very hour. O, how we need to be anointed in this very hour. We need the grace of God more than anything else in this world. Hallelujah for the revelation of the revealed work in this hour. A break away from rituals and concentrating on the message that Jesus left us.
Hear these words recorded in the book of 2 Chronicles chapter 7 and verse 13-16.

“13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.

16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”

So there is our answer right in the word of God. We are obligated to serve the Lord in the beauty of Holiness and grace. With respect and integrity so the world can glorify God the Father in us. Are we ready to meet the challenge or face the trials in this wicked and perverse generation. Let us challenge each other and wait for the results. I love you and God bless you richly.
