A blessed day to all my beloved in the Lord. All friends and well-wishers, brothers and sisters. This is truly a wonderful day for me to come to you again to proclaim the Name of our Lord and all the things He has done for us.
I am thrilled to be on the land of the living to offer the praise and thanks we have received at His hands. Our text today is straight forward and should be encouraging to each of us today, for the Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever.
To the Elders of the Church greetings and the peace of God our father who has brought us to see the dawn of this day. I want you to read with me the words of the king. Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 and verse 1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
A time for a season under the sun and a purpose. We have to find our place within the season so we can fulfill our purpose. This is not our doing but our obedience to the word of God. We are on a mission to proclaim the mysteries of God in these closing hours. One thing is sure that whatever we do let not our labour be in vain. but this is the time for us to build up and not break down, to sew and not to rend, to love and not hate. This is time to gather and not cast away, time to support your Leader and stop fighting. The time to learn and not to know it all. This is time to call sinners to the Gospel feast and not to shun others. We all have a responsibility to safe guard this sacred ministry. We are called to protect and serve the people of God and not to promote ourselves
We have to get to the place where we can say like Paul I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith and now Paul is ready to look for his crown. The question is what have we done with our time here on earth? What have we accomplished (email 3/1/2014). Where is our contribution in this Ministry. We cannot reap if we sow not, show me your fruits and I will show you my labour in faith. Hallelujah for the grace of God. It is time that we do what is right and live for God. Nothing is wrong with that (email 2/19/2014).
So as we go through this new week let us stay focus on the things of God and where we are going as a church.How are we going to grow the church and save people from the wrath that is to come. One simple fact for us to follow is to be an example in word and deed and be respectful. Our integrity should precede us in this life. Let God have all the honour and the glory is my prayer.
As I close let me remind you that our Bishop Hon. Andres B. Quow will host his thanksgiving service in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Easter Sunday April 20, 2014. Those that are reading this email and can make it to the service to lend support. It is always good for brethren to dwell together in unity.
May Almighty God bless and keep us in His service, and the grace of God keep us together. God bless and have a great day.
