WATCH AND PRAY

ABdJesus takes the journey with us. He leads the way and calls us to partner with Him, to join Him as His allies, companions, and joint-heirs. Just as He call the three to journey with Him so this morning we are going to place ourselves in the steps of those three. We are going to walk with Jesus to the place where He will talk to us and put us at ease. My brothers and sisters in the Lord this morning is your time to hear that personal heart rendering talk. “My hour is come” stay here and watch with me for one hour while I go yonder to pray. Today someone is praying for you. Who is that someone?

God’s Spirit confirms in our spirits that we are His children. If we are God’s children, that means we are His heirs along with the Anointed, set to inherit everything that is His. If we share with His sufferings, we know that we will ultimately share in His glory. — Romans 8:16–17

We enter the struggle with Him. He continues the battle through us. Therefore, adopt the mind-set of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts. — Philippians 2:5 Unfortunately, many of us don’t have the mindset and do not know of the struggles of Jesus. Therefore, they cannot identify with Him in His life. If you can’t  then you are very helpless, frail and weak . You cannot do it on your own. You need to partner with some greater energy. Something positive, positive energy. This is not the time for negatives.

As in any partnership, you must take up your responsibility. So many people think they can just walk into Jerusalem without a question asked. It is not that simple nor easy. There must be a purpose and a reason for all our actions. Being in position is not easy and it carries lots of hurt and pains. I often said that you have to prepare yourself for the journey. You cannot rest on your laurels. You have to work until Jesus returns. Continue to work out your salvation, with great fear and trembling, because God is energizing you so that you will desire and do what always pleases Him. — Philippians 2:12–13

The reluctant journey is God’s way to transform us and bring His transformation to the world. We are called to “shine like stars across the land” (Philippians 2:15). And so, more than once, we heave a sigh, return to our purpose, and give all to God again. I will urge you not to give up but to press and keep pressing to the end. Time is passing us slowly but surely. Be not conform to this world but let your spirit be transformed in the spirit of God.

Whatever happens, let Your will be done — not Mine. — Mark 14:36

The purpose of the reluctant journey is to spread the light of God.

The God who spoke light into existence, saying, ‘Let light shine from the darkness,’ is the very One who sets our hearts ablaze to shed light on the knowledge of God’s glory revealed in the face of Jesus. — 2 Corinthians 4:6 Thank you for your patience and Let the Lord have have His way in your hearts. God bless.
