FB_IMG_1429980271815As I conclude this message my brothers and sisters I trust that you have walked in the steps of Isaiah and have the answer to the question asked by God our Father. This morning I pray that the coal of fire will rest on everyone’s lips and transform the way we talk. May our speech be renewed and only what God wants us to say will come out of our mouths. May we not offend but pray that the Lord will make changes in the lives of our brothers and sisters. Remember we are to build up and not break down. Nor are we to scatter the sheep from the fold. There shall be one shepherd and one flock.

Too often, we wait for someone else to share the gospel with a loved one because we don’t want to stir the waters. Sometimes we expect our Patriarch or Archbishop to do all of the ministry things while we just show up and support him. This is not God’s way. He wants us to say with Isaiah that we are available and willing to go and do whatever we are asked. He wants us to have willing hearts and not pass off our responsibilities to someone else. God has created good works for us to do (Ephesians 2:10), and it is our responsibility to do them. We will not be judged one day by what our Patriarch or Archbishop has done or by what other people do but by what we do. We will give an account for ourselves.

Isaiah, an ordinary man, was willing to obey God and step out in faith to let God do extraordinary things through him. Let us pray that we would come to see and value God as Isaiah did such that we will say with Isaiah, “Here I am. Send me.” Father in the Name of Jesus Christ hear our prayers this morning and give us the ultimatum to take up our cross and follow you. We are no longer our own, but we belong to You Lord. Here am I send me. May all ministers in This Mystical Order take up this challenge and step out in faith for great is our Lord. God bless us all. AMEN
