WE ARE RISING ABOVE

A3Praise the Lord for another day of seeing the light and for Your goodness towards us. We praise you O, Father for loving us and watching over us from one sunrise to another and one sunset to another. We are so blessed to call you our Father which art in Heaven.

This morning I want to talk to you on the subject “WE ARE RISING ABOVE…”

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. — Genesis 50:20

Everyone faces adversity from time to time. A person is fired from his or her job. Bills are due, but there’s no money to pay them with. A beloved family member dies. How we handle these situations can say a lot about our faith in the Lord. The seed we sow will determine the fruits we reap. Praise the Lord.

In the case of Joseph, his problems began the moment he fell for his brothers’ “we’ve got a really neat pit to show you” and that was a trick. They sold him as a slave to Ishmaelites passing through the area in an attempt to rid themselves of “the dreamer” (Genesis 37:19). Let me tell you this that you may cut down the tree but the life is burried deep in the earth in the roots of the tree, and it will spring up again. Eventually, Joseph was able to gain a good standing with Potiphar and was placed in charge of his house. But later, Potiphar’s wife attempted to seduce Joseph and falsely accused him of adultery. A man’s downfall is often the women that surround them, and we see it clearly in this case. So many men who believe that they are handsome and cute are mostly targeted. So they fall for the gifts that are showered on them and then you watch their kingdoms shattered and fall. Joseph ended up in prison as a result of the actions of Potiphar’s wife, because he did not give in to her seduction. Today it is little different  because we are seduced and trapped in our own selfish desires while laying blame on others for our failures. When you are misunderstood by others the problems begin. Then comes the time when the enemy will want to silence you and block your progress.

Joseph had plenty of opportunities to cry out about the injustice he was facing. He had chances to complain about the treatment he had received from his brothers. He could have become bitter when the king’s cup-bearer was released from prison and forgot about him. These actions and attitudes would have reduced Joseph to hopelessness. Let me tell you how the enemy tried so often to smear my character and reduce me to nothing. When my friendship was violated and my integrity was at risk and no where to turn I was still confident that God will deliver me out the hands of the enemy. I lived it out and waiting for the promise that “I will be with you to the very end.

Instead, Joseph allowed himself to be used by God to interpret Pharaoh’s dream. Pharaoh removed him from prison and placed him in charge of Egypt, where he organized a plan to store grains before the famine occurred. Finally, Joseph was reunited with his brothers. What was intended for bad was used by God for good. So you see The Mystical Order is like Joseph imprisoned by some, but Hallelujah the dream is about to be unfolded. The grains are being stored in writing form and archived at www.mysticalorderinc.org. The harvest is white and we are praying that God will send forth labourers in the field. There is room for those that wandered away. Joseph brothers will visit him in Egypt because their food will soon run out. Are you willing to rise above your pride? O, come taste and see that the Lord is good.

Obstacles have the ability to take us out of contention, but we also have the opportunity to rise above them. We can cry, complain, and live in misery because of our struggles. Or we can react like Joseph allowing God, in His timing, to bring something good out of our circumstances. Are you allowing God to help you land on your feet? This is my plea that you humble yourselves in the presence of God and let Him work the miracle in your life this morning. The fight to  survive is here and The Mystical Order is ready to surrender to the will of God. Take me as I am is the plea of every brother and sister. This is your time to move ahead. God bless you richly.
