image (32)The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? A pleasant morning to my family in the Lord, thanking Almighty God for another opportunity whereby we can enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praises. Heavenly Father, as we glorify You today, we pray and ask for Your continued guidance and blessings as we go about our daily chores in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

Peace and blessings to my elders, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order, I greet you with the peace that passeth all understanding. Brothers and sisters, St John 4 verse 24 states, God is a spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Believers, how many of us really understands how to worship God in spirit and in truth? We congregate for worship whether it be Saturday, Sunday or a week day and cry Lord God, however, when situations and circumstances arises do we still believe, trust, and have faith that God will see us through, come what may?

Saints of God, I’m going to try to summarize a lesson on belief, trust and faith, but to get a better understanding one have to peruse Daniel 3. Three Jewish brothers {the bible did not say they were brothers by birth, but we’re all God’s children, hence the reason, I say brothers}. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow down and worship a golden image, which was a decree stipulated by King Nebuchadnezzar, and the punishment was that any person disobeying was to be thrown in a fiery furnace. These three Jews were brought before Nebuchadnezzar, and when questioned why they would not bow down and worship the golden image, replied. We are not careful to answer thee (Nebuchadnezzar) in this matter, however, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king Nebuchadnezzar. Hallelujah!

So beloved, we see Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, showing that the Lord is their light and their salvation and that they fear God and God alone. We also see their strong belief in God, they told Nebuchadnezzar, “our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us”. Christian family, some of us trust in chariots and some in horses, but Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trust in the name of the Lord, their God. Amen! Brothers and sisters, do we have the faith like the three Jews, do we believe, trust and have faith that Almighty God will comfort us and see us through any and every circumstances. My interpretation of what Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said to King Nebuchadnezzar is, “ if we should die on our pilgrim journey, heaven is our home”. Praise the Lord!

Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today. Master, as we continue to sink ourselves deeper into Your Gospel Treasure (Bible), help us not only to read and understand but to adhere to and practice the teachings of Christ. Break down our stony hearts, insomuch that we understand what love is and how to serve You in spirit and in truth. King of Zion as we close, compel us to believe in You, trust and have faith, and in patience wait, until You come. These and all other blessing we pray for in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

Your humble servant,

His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
