YOU ARE MY STRONG TOWER

20151106_222527This morning I thank God for waking me up to see another day and to thank Him for this time and hour when I come to your inbox with another new message of the same old story of Jesus and His dying love. I am still finding encouragements as my body gets older. I realized that God is still the same yesterday, today and forever. Thank God for Paul and the book of the Hebrews. Hallelujah

However, the longer I write these emails — focusing on finding hope in Jesus — the more hopeful and encouraged I became.” Whether you are needing a lifeline in discouragement, or simply longing for an encouraging boost, Jesus Today will speak hope into your life. It is written as if Jesus is assuring that He is in control, that He is good, and that a glorious future awaits all who anchor their hope in Him. We hope you will be blessed by the message today. The hymn writer puts it this way, “I have anchored my soul in the haven of rest.” There is where we want to be even when our work on this earth is finished and the roll is called. I want to sign my name in glory.

I am the One who keeps you safe. You tend to rely heavily on your thinking and planning as if that is where your security lies. When you start to feel anxious about something, your mind goes into overdrive — searching for solutions, searching for security. All the while I am with you, holding you by your right hand.

Beware of trusting in yourself — which is foolish. Instead, walk in wisdom and you will be kept safe. Many of us secure our homes with systems to alert us of an intruder, but in this great city of NY we walk on age-old infrastructure that is crumbling and we don’t think of the risks. We forget about our security in God after the Sunday service until the next assembly.

The essence of wisdom is to trust in Me more than in yourself or other people. We need to get back to the fundamental pillars of the word of God and what is keeping us alive. All through the ages, we recall that trust was the most important thing for our stability.

I stand ready to guide you with My counsel, so bring all your concerns to Me. When you are feeling confused, it may be helpful to write out your prayers, asking Me to show you the way forward. Then wait in My Presence, giving Me time to guide your mind while you focus on Me and My Word. You can whisper, “Jesus,” to help you stay focused.

My Name — representing all that I am — is a strong tower; those who run to it are safe. But you have to trust the security in that Name. You have to trust God at His word and walk into His tower.

Have you ever pictured Me as your strong tower? Your hiding place? How can this reassure you in your current circumstances? Let Me keep you safe.

Yet I am always with you; You hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterwards You will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire but You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.— Psalm 73:23–26

He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.— Proverbs 28:26

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.— Proverbs 18:10 I beg of you not to trust the buildings or the structure around you. If a man cannot teach you and show you how to trust in God and His words something is wrong and you must run for cover. Oh, how God is calling us to come back to Him and trust Him for who He is and for all the benefits He has offered unto us. May you the children of The Mystical Order and Starlight of Israel find your true footing in the place where God wants you to rest. With love and blessings.
