Happy New Year to our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing Temple, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the awesome name of Jesus. Brothers and sisters, this is the first time I’m writing to you in this New Year, hence the reason for the peculiar subject. For a topic like unto this, there are many angles and different avenues, it could take us over hills and mountains, through rocks and valleys. We can transcend to the seven heights or plunge to the seven depths, nevertheless, we have to lift up our eyes unto the hills from whence cometh our help. Amen! We can also look back at our personal lives, the past events and happenings that took place in the world, or from a Biblical and Spiritual scenario. A lot was done and said but that’s history now, and having the opportunity to be reading this, means Almighty God spared our sinful lives to behold this New Year – 2016. Thank you Jesus!

Family in Christ, some of us are skeptical about the future not knowing what lies ahead in 2016, but permit me to reassure you with God’s words, “in my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”. So if we believe in God, let not our hearts be troubled, for the will of God would never take us where the grace of God cannot sustain us. Hallelujah! Bearing in mind, some of us likes things now for now or over night delivery (oppss, I’m testifying on myself). With Almighty God, it’s endurance, not who can run their race the fastest, nor who go above and beyond to win their battles. (2 Chronicles 7 verse 14). Brothers and sisters, we have to embrace the future with faith like Abraham. Almighty God gave him a command to leave Haran (Genesis 12), and he (Abraham) journeyed into the land of promise with faith and the word of God. For he (Abraham) looked for a city {embraced the future} which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Amen!

Saints of God, 2016 is going to be a very interesting year, we have general elections coming up in November for North America, Trinidad and Tobago is crying recession, the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines recently won a fourth term in office, the ever on going conflict with Palestine and Israel. Not forgetting our brothers and sisters in Africa being slaughtered by the scores and hundreds, Lord have mercy! Most heinous, monstrous and unspeakable of all, ISIS. In concluding brethren, let us watch and pray. Prayer is the key to Heaven’s door, hence we should embrace this New Year with faith and not fear.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, just granting us the opportunity to behold this year means You still loves us and care for us. Master, please continue to bless our elders in The Mystical Order, may the New Year bring them new ideas and options to excel in Your work. O Jehovah Jireh, please continue to provide spiritual food for our existence, keep us on praying grounds, help us to read and understand Your word (The Bible), and tarry until that great day of Salvation, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
