alleyneNew every morning is the love,

Our wakening and uprising prove

Through sleep and darkness safely brought

Restored to life and power and thought.

New mercies each returning day

Hover around us while we pray

New perils past new signs forgiven

New thoughts of God new hopes of Heaven.

They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. A pleasant morning to my family in Christ, thanking Almighty God for spared life and tender mercies. Another day and another opportunity for us to draw closer to God, for in Him, there’s pardon, forgiveness, fresh courage, hope and life everlasting. Amen! Father as we lift You up in our devotion today, we pray for Your continued guidance, blessings and protection, help us to tarry through this day in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

Season Greetings to our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing Temple, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the precious name of Jesus – sweetest name I know. Brethren, in St Luke gospel we read, when Jesus was twelve (12) years old, His parents went to Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover, and when they returned to Nazareth, Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem and Joseph and Mary were not aware of this. After travelling about one day, Joseph and Mary sought Jesus among their kinsfolk but He was not there, so they returned to Jerusalem seeking Him. After about three days they found Him in the temple conversing with doctors. As worried and concerned parents, they questioned him about His behaviour. His reply was, “how is it that ye sought me, wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business”?

Fellow travelers to eternity, are we about our Father’s business? Are we seeking Jesus while He may be found? Are we looking for Jesus in all the wrong places? Brothers and sisters, I know all of us mean well in working for the Lord, but many a time I’m left astonished by our behavior and the things we do and say. Hence the reason, I’ve asked the aforementioned questions. Most of us go to church Sunday after Sunday, we cry Lord God, but we’re far from God. We laugh and talk to each other, then crucify each other, especially on social media. Oppss! Saints of God, the social media should be used to spread the word of God, letting mankind know God loves us and we should obey His Commandments and flee from the wrath to come. Mankind is dying daily for the lack of knowledge, and some of us who possess a little are directing the energy in all the wrong places. Lord have mercy!

Believers, let us look deep within ourselves, do some soul searching and house cleaning, as the old year is coming to a close. I have to remind Israel that God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. One have to look within oneself to find Jesus, and if The Holy Ghost is dwelling in us, most of us would stop yielding to satanic works. (1 Corinthians 3 verses 16 to 18). Brothers and sisters, we have to learn to control our thoughts, for our thoughts become our words (we know too well, words can destroy), words become action and action become our habits and character.

In closing beloved, the Kingdom of God is within us. We are seeing all the signs and wonders of the second coming of Christ. Look how the weather pattern have changed, we who live in New York are experiencing a very strange winter season, while in the Midwest, tornadoes are battering those states with fatalities. Let us look to Jesus and live. Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for our Saviour. Master we pray for our elders, please grant them the courage and wisdom to push on in Your name. O God of love, compel us to humble ourselves and pray, so that that God’s Angels would come to our rescue when necessary. Almighty God, please grant us peace, love and unity for the New Year – 2016, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
