The Shepherds in the fields received the Angel’s announcement of the “change”,
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
As the Angels completed their mission they returned to heaven leaving the Shepherds saying to each other:
“Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
They left their flocks and hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. When they saw the child they went about spreading the announcement given to them and their findings. There was much commotion during all this but Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
Now, it’s time for the world to “ponder” on what took place and why. Why did God send His son to this troublesome world? His coming was that we would receive what Adam failed to complete; yes, He would grow up among his people and fulfil his Father’s will…love, truth and hope. Without him we would all die in our sins…thought, words, deeds and actions.
The Bible says that the only way to be saved is through Jesus; hence, his mission to this world to bear it all on Mt. Calvary.
As we celebrate, let us take time out to remember others who may not be as fortunate as we are.

A Joyous Celebration to you and your family…as we look forward to a Bountiful New Year (DV).
