Your Excellency,

It gives me immense pleasure to extend, on behalf of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc in New York and The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, our warmest congratulations and sincere greetings to Your Excellency, as you begin your fourth tenure as the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

By successfully completing a major exercise of popular voting in a small country like ours, St. Vincent and the Grenadines has once again proved its commitment to strengthening democracy. Nothing improves the reputation of a government and its leader more than their returning to power with an increase in the popular votes.

Your Excellency, you have been providing leadership to the world’s great democracy in various capacities, especially during the past fifteen years as the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I am sure that with your impeccable credentials you stand in a good position to lead the country on the road towards joining the community of developed nations in ensuring world peace and justice for all nations of the world. You have demonstrated in the Caribbean that you are outstanding in every aspect of responsibility placed on you. You are leading the Caribbean in climate change and the cause for reparation.

Your Excellency have reaffirmed your determination to uphold the values of communal harmony, religious tolerance, and the values of freedom and pluralism that make St. Vincent and the Grenadines a unique model for us all. You have fought a good campaign of honesty, facts, development and a vision for the future of this nation we love dearly. Your return to power as Prime Minster, with a clear mandate, gives the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines confidence that your much-valued assurances of St. Vincent and the Grenadines secular democratic principles will be upheld and that all peoples in this great nation – the poorest of the poor, and those who experience discrimination on the basis of caste or religion – will find protection and dignity.

My Patriarch Sir Darrin with roots in SVG and our clergy join me to wish Your Excellency good health, our country prosperity and its people happiness. Please accept the assurances of our prayers and God’s blessings upon you and your cabinet and the nation.

Yours sincerely,

Archbishop Dr. Godfrey Gregg
Administrator
