Eric2Will you be ready

When the Bridegroom comes

Will you be ready

When the Bridegroom comes

In the morning noon or night

Keep your lamp all burning bright

Will you be ready

When the Bridegroom comes?

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness. Amen! A pleasant morning to my brothers and sisters in the Lord, thanking Almighty God for sparing our sinful lives to behold another day, whereby we can worship, adore, and bless His matchless name. Father as we go about our busy chores today, we pray that Your Holy Angels guide, guard and comfort us throughout this day and forever in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Peace and blessings to our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing Temple, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in Jesus Almighty name, for in the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. Hallelujah! Beloved according to the time and season we’re in (early December), I’m noticing preparations are being made in all sectors of life. Since prior Thanksgiving day, the merchants and business conglomerates have taken inventory, stocked their stores and warehouses, anticipating thousands of eager customers purchasing their merchandise. Home owners are busy cleaning, doing repairs; housewives are caught up in an annual frenzy of shopping, changing curtains and preparing delicacies such as ginger beer, black cake and sorrel. Some families are busy purchasing plane tickets or making travel plans to visit relatives. a and sisters, with these things going on, a city or whole country is jumping with activities. The transportation system is beefed up, making taxi drivers happy. The unemployment situation is briefly curtailed because companies are hiring part time workers. People are very generous, giving to the poor, needy and homeless, so the atmosphere is set preparing for something big.
Children of The Most High God, with all these preparations put in place, have we prepared or are we making preparations for the coming of our King? Are we preparing to celebrate the commemoration of the birth of baby Jesus? {most of us understand He was not born in December}. In St John chapter 1, we read a question was asked of John {who came to bear witness}, “who art thou”? John confessed that he is not the Christ, but declared, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight (prepare ye) the way of the lord, as said the prophet Esaias. Saints of God, do we prefer to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, or prefer to suffer and endure affliction as being children of God? Beloved we have to choose, (please don’t misunderstand me, we’re all part and parcel of the economy, wherein we work to survive), however, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, therefore we should shew forth the praises of Him — who had called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. What I’m trying to highlight here is that we satisfy and fulfill the needs of the physical man, what about the spiritual being, for we were taught that God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (St John 4 verse 24). Praise the Lord!
Beloved, let us analyze what’s going on around us and make the necessary preparations, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. (1 Thessalonians chapter 5), (Romans chapter 6), (Ephesians chapter 6), (2 Timothy chapter 3). As we can recall, the predictions of the early prophets  concerning Christ’s birth, life and ministry were fulfilled and those who sincerely believed were prepared to accept and follow Him. This being true, we can reliably expect that the happenings prophesied of concerning His second coming will also be fulfilled.
In closing beloved, part of our preparation should be to watch and pray. Prayer is the key, prayer changes things and situations. If we refrain from prayers, we’re leaving ourselves vulnerable to all manner of evil forces to take control, so I beseech Israel, let’s stay on praying grounds. Faith, belief and trust in God are also major keys in preparing for that great day of Salvation. Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, as we prepare to commemorate the birth of our Savoiur, please prepare our hearts to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change things and the wisdom to know the difference. Master compel us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves, obedient to our elders, and live peaceable with all mankind. All these and more blessings we ask, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
God loves you so do I.
Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
