A blessed day to all my readers, brothers and sisters in the Lord and this Mystical Order. To my Lord Patriarch and Chief Apostle greetings and to the faithful in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Lord our God in One Lord.
This morning I want to share some thoughts with you that I have pulled form my archives. This month of December we will hear much talks about giving and sharing. We are caught up with giving to our neighbours and our children and many times we forgot about giving unto the Lord. Giving to the church and the family that you so adore and uphold. How we forget those that helped us to stay on the firing line. We give and give and forgot the main person in our church life.
Let us this Christmas season remember some areas that have been neglected for many years. Share more than just your things, but also your heart, counsel, and time. When you do, you’ll enjoy everything more, and so will everyone else. The resources God has entrusted to you should be used in a manner that pleases him. Encourage someone to walk in the fear of the Lord. Give some love, lend an helping hand to someone to cross the street. While at the laundromat offer to help fold the your neighbours clothes. Witness the word of God to someone. Give a good word of encouragement and remember that the least you do is precious in His sight.
Share them with those having fewer resources but greater needs. Your free and cheerful giving of God’s gifts will indeed lead to your blessing. Share with others. Continue to read to the end and see how the early church behaved. How thy acted and were blessed.
All the believers were together and shared everything. They would sell their land and the things they owned and then divide the money and give it to anyone who needed it. The believers met together in the Temple every day. They ate together in their homes, happy to share their food with joyful hearts. Acts 2:44-46
The group of believers were united in their hearts and spirit. All those in the group acted as though their private property belonged to everyone in the group. In fact, they shared everything. Acts 4:32
You are rich in everything in faith, in speaking, in knowledge, in truly wanting to help, and in the love you learned from us. In the same way, be strong also in the grace of giving. 2 Corinthians 8:7
