O God, why hast Thou cast us off for ever? Why doth Thine anger smoke against the sheep of Thy pasture? (Psalm 74). A pleasant morning to my family in the Lord. Thanking Almighty God for sparing our lives whereby we can honour, worship, adore and give Him thanks and praises. Master as we lift You up in prayer today, we humbly ask for Your continued guidance, blessings and protection for our families, friends and especially those of us who are blessed with the opportunity to look over Your flock, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Peace and blessings to our Patriarch, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you with peace, perfect peace. Not the peace that we (mankind) speak about, but the peace that surpasses all understanding. Hallelujah! Brothers and sisters, a while gone by, I had asked a question, “why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?” Up to present time I’m still amazed even wondering, will mankind ever emerge from darkness into the Light. Beloved in Christ, I strongly believe that one of our major setback is that we put too much emphasis on a brother or sister than we focus on ourselves. Throughout the Bible we have specific guidelines to follow, but we tend to lean on our own understanding or follow unthinking horses to battle. Lord have mercy! If we adhere to a few of these principles, mainly; “thou shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20 vs 3). “Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20 vs 16), and “seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6 vs 33), we would overcome the powers of darkness and dwell with God’s grace in marvellous light.
Children of The Most High God, sometimes the things we do and say are detrimental to our brothers and sisters, even our body language sends a message. Words can and will damage a person’s character. If we cannot give a good report about someone, then we should hold our peace. As Christians, we should always be aware and mindful of Matthew 7 vs 1. Romans 16 verses 17 and 18 describes some of us. Believers, God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved, John 3 vs 17. So if Jesus the Christ did not condemn the world, why are we condemning and blaspheming our brothers and sisters. My people let us wake up from our drousy nature sleep, let’s throw off the cloak of darkness and enter in the Light of the world. Let us pray for one another, now is the time for us to gather ourselves together, let us stop wrestling against flesh and blood and wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Amen!
As I close this portion brethren, Jesus said, ” I am the Light of this world, he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Hallelujah! Almighty God, we thank You for sending The Light of this world. Master we thank You for His teachings and guide lines, that He left for us to follow. We thank You for Your grace, insomuch that when darkness appears, we can call on You to show us The Way, The Truth and The Light. King of Zion, please continue to bless and direct our elders, so they could impart Your love towards us. Lord God, we pray that Your Light will always shine through us and mankind will see our good works and glorify You in Heaven. All these and more blessings we pray for in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
