Praise the Lord for another day and a fresh breath of air. We are still on the land of the living to offer our sacrifice and prayers of thanksgiving to Almighty God. Many long to see this day and were not able to see it. Many are called from works unto reward. My brothers and sisters in the Lord and the Mystical Order I give God praise for you and my family. I am so delighted to be able to reach you another day in your homes, car or wherever this email will meet you of the ping on Facebook. I want to start this email by saying, “Keep pressing.” Meaning, stay faithful and persevere in the midst of fatigue, hurt, or whatever it is that could make you discouraged. Sometimes in this walk, we grow weary and get tired, but I want to encourage you today with God’s word, “So don’t get tired of doing what is good. Don’t get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.” (Galatians 6:9) If you don’t give up the fight, you will see what God has in store for you. But you have to keep pressing.
This means pressing towards the mark of the high calling. And it means, don’t ever stop believing that God has a unique purpose and plan for your life. In the meantime, you have to remain faithful to Him, others, and the current tasks that He has laid out for you, while you endure through His strength. When you find yourself getting weak in your Christian walk, read this Scripture or even memorize it, “So take a new grip with your tired hands and stand firm on your shaky legs. Mark out a straight path for your feet. You ought to be dressed according to the word of God having your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace … and having done all to stand – live the word so others can follow your light. Then those who follow you, though they are weak and lame, will not stumble and fall but will become strong.” (Hebrews 12:12-13)
You have to be strong for others. When you are weak, encourage yourself with the Word of God. There is so much power in that book! And call on the Lord to give you strength to keep pressing. Now don’t get me wrong, sometimes you just have to lay down and take a nap to get refreshed. Trust me. That happens. But my point here, is that you recognize where you are, and get that second wind. The key is not to give up, no matter what. This is your moment and you should make every effort to seize the moment and take advantage of the hour you are living . God will steer your ship if you let Him use you for His purpose.
It’s about keeping the faith at all cost, because others are counting on you to make it. Do you realize that you may be the only Jesus that some people may ever see? As you draw closer to God, while allowing Him to continue cleansing your heart, and remain faithful to what He and who has called you to, He can use you as a mighty vessel for His glory to help win others to Jesus Christ. Second Timothy 2:21 says, “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” God is looking for vessels of honour in this time and your life must demonstrate the qualities that make you worthy for that honour.
So stay faithful in every way. Stay faithful to God, knowing that He will remain faithful to you. Stay faithful to your husband and children (if you have them). Stay faithful to your responsibilities at home. Stay faithful to your relationships. Stay faithful to your commitments. Stay faithful for others. Titus 2:4-5 says, “These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to take care of their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.” Surely, you’re older than someone. So don’t bring shame on the word of God. Be that light that shines bright in the world around you and make a dramatic difference for the Kingdom. Hallelujah
This is why you can’t stop. You can’t quit. You can’t stop serving. You can’t stop being committed. You can’t throw in the towel. You have to persevere. Others need you. There were times I felt like I am walking alone and felt weak wanting to give up, but I remember where God brought me from and where He is taking me. I just cannot give up. Even if I have to walk alone and be alone I want to be faithful only to Him for His purpose and perfect will. And God is faithful to see you through until the end. Remember, He’ll give you the strength to keep pressing. Isaiah 40:29 and 31 says, “He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak…But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Be strong in Him, my brothers and sisters. You can make it through Christ who strengthens you.
Remember that Jesus is coming soon! And those who endure unto the end shall be saved. So let’s be ready from the Inside Out.
