EricOne day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m askin’ of you
Just give me the strength
To do every day what I have to do
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine
Lord, help me today, show me the way
One day at a time

Do you remember when you walked among men
Well Jesus you know
If you’re lookin’ below, it’s worse now than then
Pushin’ and shovin’ and crowdin’ my mind
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time

Praise ye the Lord, for it is good to sing praises unto our God, for it is pleasant and praise is comely. Amen! A blessed morning to all my brothers and sisters in the Lord, come let us give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever. Almighty and ever merciful God, we come before Your presence today, asking for pardon and forgiveness for our sins, some we know and some we know not, Father we pray for Your blessings, guidance and protection throughout this day and forever in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

To our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing Temple, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in Jesus Almighty name. Family in Christ, in today’s world where everything is moving so fast, technology is changing daily, nine and ten year old children reaching puberty and we as adults are caught up in the competitive trend (trap) the business conglomerates have set for us. Please don’t take this personal if Almighty God has blessed you in one way or the other. However, some of us are trying to live like the Jones’, or competing with our neighbor and some of us are yielding to financial pressure from our children. (Phew! What a world we’re living in). Lord have mercy!
In the first and last verses of Psalm 27, brother David is displaying his faith, trust and patience in the Lord. Fellow travellers to eternity, we recite this Psalm like the alphabet, but do we adhere to the words, do we try to live the life? We know some families are barely staying afloat, but we have to trust and wait on the Lord. In Psalm 40 we read the Lord working miracles for David due to his (David) patience and obedience in the Lord. We took can enjoy these favors from the Lord only if we trust and obey, for there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust, obey and in patience wait, until He come. Waiting can be very tedious, insomuch that we’re mere mortals but it’s for our spiritual growth and enlightenment that we follow the teachings and principles Jesus the Christ have laid out for us.
One more thing to note before I close, you may have been praying for something for the last 10 years and wondering why your prayers have not been answered. Sometimes we have to change up the way we pray, some of us recite prayers, we have to have open up and ask the Holy Spirit to speak Lord for thy servant heareth. Or we have to go more in depth, (sink ourselves) (take self out of self) and commune with Almighty. Amen!
Heavenly Father we thank You for another blessing today, we thank You for this lesson on humility and patience. We thank You for Your only begotten Son — who taught us to be strong in faith and in patience wait for His appearance. Lord, please grant our elders of The Mystical Order patience like to Job, so they can tarry until such time. O Great Jehovah, please hear us when we cry, have mercy also upon us and answer us, please provide, bless and direct us, so we can endure and wait in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
