WHOM SHALL WE TRUST?

image (11)In Thee O Lord do we put our trust, let us never be put to confusion. Deliver us in Thy righteousness and cause us to escape; incline Thine ear unto us and save us. Almighty and most merciful God, we come before Thee today with no strength nor power of our own, for we know all strength, power and blessings come from You. As we lift up Your name in praises and adoration, we pray that You forgive our sinful lives and continue to bless, guide and provide for us this day and forever in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! Thank you Lord!

To our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the awesome name of Jesus. Family in Christ in my opening paragraph, we observed brother David placing his faith, belief and confidence in Almighty God. In Psalm 118 after David pleaded to the Lord and his prayers was answered, he summarizes his victory with verses 8 and 9. We too can be successful in all our endeavours, if only we leave the circumstances and situations in the hands of the Almighty. However, we have to be good stewards. One must have invested in Jesus Christ, because on Christ the solid rock we stand; all other ground is sinking sand. Amen!
Nowadays, due the financial burdens and a family to provide for, some of us place our trust in numbers (lotto). Please don’t interpret this the wrong way, I can’t be hypocritical, I play lotto sometimes but not on a daily basis — like some people have charts or numbers drawn up in such a form that they might predict what number will come up next, this is an addiction. My intentions here is not to step on anyone’s toes nor to criticize any city or country for their system, but to highlight Psalm 23 and the hymn which derived from it. { My Shepherd will supply my needs, Jehovah is His name}. Again, I’m not judging anyone, some people survive by playing numbers, so to God be the glory. Amen!
When I looked up the meaning of “trust”, the dictionary states; it is something committed or entrusted to one’s care for safekeeping. Are we fully invested (trust) in the Lord? In Psalm 20 verse 7, we read, some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. If we only let go and let God (trust) have His way in our lives, there is forgiveness, redemption, longsuffering and Salvation. Hallelujah! Another hymn writer declared; “trust and obey, there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey”. Praise the Lord!
In closing beloved, let us learn to place all our trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding, for wherever the will of God takes us the grace of God will sustain us Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, we have learnt to trust You at all times and for everything, because with You there is no failure. We thank You for “The Bright and Morning Star”, who trusted in You and gave His life for us, for this we are yours, use us as You see fit. Remember our elders in The Mystical Order, entrust them with Your helmet of Salvation and Your sword of the spirit. Lord, we pray for our brothers and sisters around the world, please guard, guide and protect them. King of Zion, You’re our only hope, continue to provide for us and bless us for we’re leaving everything in Your hands, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
God loves you so do I.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Your humble servant,

His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
