Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Amen! Giving thanks and praises to the great I AM that I AM, The One — which woke us up this morning, turn us around and placed our feet on higher ground. Amen! For this cause beloved, O come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Father, we humble ourselves before You this morning, and ask for Your forgiveness and blessings through out this blessed day and forever, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

To our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus. Brothers and sisters as we traverse this season of lent, while fasting, praying or in whatever ways one’s commemorating; reflection should also be made on the covenant we made with Almighty God. [ I’m being urged to mention our baptismal oath and our ministerial oath, but I may run into problems and testify on myself or open a can worms — of which I would not be able to control and one of my elders will have to come to my rescue]. So, family in Christ, I’ll keep it simple with the covenant we as individuals, made with God. In this season, one should set aside some time and take an inventory on how we’re living out the terms of our agreement. Now is the time {this is the day of Salvation}, for us to take a deep and serious look at our lives and, if need be, make some adjustments. Amen!

According to spiritual understanding, God made promises to our ancestors; Abraham’s seed was promised land (Genesis 12 verse 7) and (Hebrew 11 verse 8 &9). Noah and his sons were blessed and were told to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and God promised that He would never again destroy all with a flood or cover the earth with a flood. Brothers and sisters we are descendants of Noah and Abraham, so, we can hold Almighty God to His promises. What is troubling me is, are we living that God fearing life, are we obeying His Commandments, are we following Christ’s precepts? Let us take a moment and look at the promise Almighty God made to King Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7 verse 14, ” if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. Children of The Most High, it’s up to us as individuals and the church (not the physical structure) (the congregating of God’s people), to make our calling and election sure, for if we do these things, we shall never fail. Amen!

There is a hymn which goes, O Jesus I have promised to serve Thee to the end; be thou forever near me my Master and my friend, are we upholding our end of this covenant, so He can be Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient? Brothers and sisters, let us watch and pray, also, we must be aware that temptation comes in many different sizes, forms and fashions, however, due to the grace of Almighty God, the battle is the Lord’s.

As I close this portion, I pray that we walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called. Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, Master we thank You for the journey, Your only begotten Son made, a season like unto this. Lord, we thank You for our elders of The Mystical Order, help them to keep their covenant and direct us in the way we should go. O Great Jehovah, look at the state and condition of mankind, please humble us, cleanse us, and rekindle us with Your eternal flame. King of Zion, compel us to keep our covenant and guard, guide and protect us throughout this day and forever more in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
God loves you so do I.

Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
