FREEDOM

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of The Almighty, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust. Giving honour, glory, thanks and praises to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for sustaining us to behold another day, whereby we can lift up our eyes unto the hills from whence cometh our help. Amen! Father, we pray and ask for Your protection, guidance and deliverance as we tarry throughout this day, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

To our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus. Family in Christ, while perusing St John’s chapter 8, I came across verse 36, stating; “if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed”. What comforting words coming from the Son of God, but some of us prefer to be in captivity. Permit me to go back, way back in times. When the children of Israel came out of Egypt and were faced with some minor situations in the wilderness, instead of praying to Jehovah Jireh — the Provider, they started murmuring among themselves, claiming, they were better off in Egypt — where they had shelter, food and water from their Egyptian slave masters. Like wise, when slaves were emancipated somewhere in 1862 or 1863, after a few days of freedom, some of them returned to their master’s plantation, because they had no where to go nor any food for survival. So we see a trend here, our hands are being freed but our minds are still in chains. Lord have mercy!

Brothers and sisters it’s ironic for me to say this, but some of us (I’m not excluding myself) enjoy being told what to do( loves captivity). All of us were not born leaders, but there comes a time when one must broaden one’s horizons. Some people born in an environment, they grow up in the same environment and God forbid they die in the very environment. (spiritual understanding). Beloved as we have noticed, freedom is wounded by sin, however, Jesus Christ is our Liberator. Christ died on the cross and took away the sins of this world, thus making us free from sin and we became servants of righteousness. Romans 6 verse 23 reads, for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God (freedom) is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So let us stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Hallelujah! We desire freedom, we do not like evil, pain, poverty nor unhappiness, why should we? None of us like to go to bed and worry all night and get up tired in the morning. God does not impose this on us. Why do we do it? We have to free our minds and hearts from all animosity towards our neighbours and friends and allow God’s love to take over and control our body, mind and soul. Then and only then can we enjoy total freedom. Amen!

Recently, we who live here in the USA and Americans living abroad, celebrated the two hundred and thirty-ninth Anniversary of Independence (freedom). The military and local law enforcement agencies go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure the country and people maintain and enjoy this freedom. So why can’t we — children of God, try to live peaceably with all mankind so we can be free and inherit God’s Kingdom?

As I close this portion, I pray that we continue to strive in Jesus name to remain free. Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today. We thank You for sending our Liberator — who paid the ultimate price that we can enjoy freedom and maybe everlasting life. We pray for our elders in The Mystical Order, please keep them free from harm and danger. Master, remember our brothers and sisters around the world, please cover them with Your blood. O Great Jehovah, please give Your Angels charge over us, to keep us in all Thy ways, so that one day we too can say like Martin Luther King, “free at last free at last, thank God Almighty, we’re free at last”. All these and more blessings we ask for in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Would you be free from your burden of sin? There is power in the blood.
Until we meet again, God loves you so do I.

Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
