I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth. To the Creator of the universe, the Giver of life, the Unseen Guess, we give thanks and praises this morning, we honour, glorify, and worship You this morning, because there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Amen!
A pleasant and wonderful morning to our Patriarch, my Archbishop, all ministers, members, friends and well wishers of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus. Brothers and sisters, in one of brother’s John initial remarks while he was preaching in the wilderness, is for us to “prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make our path straight”. Beloved are we making our path straight? Would we be ready, if the bridegroom make a house call today or stop by our work place? Suppose we’re heading home after a hard day at work and the trumpet starts sounding, the thunder begins to roll and lightning fills the sky, what would our position be? Would we be found running to and fro, like the five virgins; looking for oil and wicks for our lamps? Family in Christ, some of us would begin crying, saying if we did know — we would have prepared for such an occasion. Now wait a second, were we not taught to live every day like it is the last day and a true believer — who serves God in spirit and in truth, would be watching and praying for that day of Salvation. Amen! Hallelujah!
Beloved now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of Salvation, if we look around us we can clearly see the writing is on the wall. Behold the dispensation we’re living in, mankind have lost the love he had, we are daily destroying ourselves. According to 1 Thessalonians 5, we were warned that, the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. When some of us think all is well, then suddenly, one’s day of rapture manifest itself and if one was not abiding in the shadows of the Almighty nor obeying His Commandments, oh how sad it will when one makes their departure and be turned away from Heaven, for not serving God. Lord have mercy!
My message for us today is to make our calling and election sure, let us when we say God, mean God. Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? Brothers and sisters, not every day I can give you a sweet sermon niether could I butter up the doctrine, I would have a heavy price to pay, so I come to you like brother John not crying in the wilderness but making an appeal via the social and international media, declaring unto us the testimony of God and to flee from the wrath to come. Amen!
In closing, let us watch and pray that we enter not into temptation, because the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak. I pray that we remember the fruit of the spirit, which is; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, googness and faith , to mention a few. Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for the word today, we pray that it’s a lamp to our feet and a light to our pathway. We pray for our elders of The mystical Order, keep them in Your tender care. Have mercy on mankind, please turn us around from that destructive path we adopted. King of Kings, please guard, guide and protect our brothers and sisters until we meet again in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
