Sir Godfrey Gregg DD

Forever here my rest shall be and I say close to Thy bleeding side. I greet all my beloved in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
To our Patriarch Sir Darrindel Hoyte-Johnson and Bishop of Starlight of Israel, Her Beatitude Crowned Queen Abbess Dr. Jacinta Albert-Patrick, Matriarch-Elect Hon. Janet McClean, Clergy, brothers, sisters, friends and well-wishers greetings.
Another day in the week and month in the year we are still on the land of the living where we can offer praise and thanks for the sparing of our lives. I praise God for sparing my homeland of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 35 years of independence and for keeping my family in peace and harmony.
Whatsoever we do must be to the honour and glory of our God.
Since the inception of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc.  We have sailed the rough seas and when the waves were rough, we thought the ship was going to sink, then Jesus came walking on the water and with comforting words said “peace be still”. Those words meant so much to me and as I looked I saw the waves became calm.
Leading any organisation is not an easy task and a church is not any easier. There will always be conflicts and a struggles by some to be at the top. I learnt that to whom much is given much is required. So I stand in the gap with God on my side. As a leader I want to be always sober-minded, with a word for anyone who may seek my guidance. I realized that my life will be the only Book some people will ever read. Therefore,  I have to be on guard at all times in conversation,  actions and the life I live must be pleasing to Almighty God.
As the month of October comes to an end let us look back to our struggles, to see where we fail and our accomplishments.  One thing may have out weighed the other. But through it all we have learned to trust in Jesus. It is with a pride and joy that we continue to serve the Lord and be of good cheers.  Just remember darkness disappears when light shines in. Have a great and wonderful day.
