Blessed good morning to all my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I am very happy to meet you on a daily basis to tell you the Name of Jesus is so sweet and can be felt in every heart beat. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of a sound knowledge in spirit and in truth. There is no better place to be, but in the presence of the Lord. So I greet you with the love and the peace of God. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc. under the Leadership of His All Holiness the Patriarch and Presiding Prelate Sir Dr. Darrin greetings and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy and pleasures at His right hand. The Word tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and it also tells us that in His presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). The joy of the Lord allows us to face every single situation, no matter how difficult, with hope and love in our hearts, and the primary way that we receive that joy is by getting into the presence of God. With this in mind, isn’t time in God’s presence the most important thing? Very rarely do we have control over our circumstances, but we do have control over how we handle them. When we take the time to get into the presence of God, He fills us up with a peace that transcends our understanding and allows us to face any circumstance with joy in our heart.
If you have Jesus, you have the greatest treasure that you could ever imagine. The richest man on earth should be jealous of the lowliest believer in Jesus Christ! If you have Jesus, you have a beautiful inheritance waiting for you in heaven. If you have Jesus the lines have fallen for you in pleasant places. If Jesus Christ is your chosen portion and your cup, your cup truly runneth over. If you have Jesus, you have no good apart from Him – with Him you have everything!
You can have fullness of joy in Jesus Christ. It is a joy that the world is always promising to you and always failing to deliver. It is a joy that the idols and false religions of the world are always promising, but always powerless to deliver. David remind us that if we seek our joy somewhere else, it will only lead to sorrow: “The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply.”
Where is the true fullness of our joy to be found for you as a believer? In the presence of God – it is only in His presence that there is “fullness of joy.” In Colossians 3:1-4 Paul says something very similar to what David tells us in this Psalm: If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
So as children of the Most High let us stay in the presence of God and make known our testimony. Our lives must be like a light and good desire to receive the fullness of God. Take the courage and let God have His way with you today. God bless.
