His Eminence Sir Eric Alleyne

Come home Zion wonderer,

Come home Zion wonderer,
Come home Zion wonderer;
Jesus calling you.
To God be the glory, great things He hath done, a pleasant and wonderful morning to our Redeemer — Jesus the Christ. To our Patriarch, my Archbishop, Queen Abbess, all ministers, our affiliated churches, members, friends and well wishers of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in Jesus Almighty name. Brothers and sisters in Saint John gospel, chapter one, a question was asked of John, “who art thou?” John’s answer was that he is not the Christ, but the voice of one crying in the wilderness for mankind to make straight the way of the Lord. My question to us today is, Are we making our pathway straight with the Lord? Are we going to continue living like the people of Galatia, whom brother Paul addressed as; O foolish Galatians — who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth? Why are we still resisting the ordinances and Commandments of Almighty God like Jannes and Jambres (Pharaos magicians) withstood Moses? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid!
Brethren, we, who are trying (Psalm 51 verse 5) to like a Christ like life, should be preparing for that great day of Salvation and not being blasphemers, trucebreakers, nor lovers of pleasures, more than lovers of God. We should not be like our fore parents, who were knocking to and fro in the wilderness for forty long years, due to their lack of faith, unbelief and disobedience to their elder (Moses). Why are we running like unthinking horses to battle and not waiting for instructions from the Holy Spirit. In the book of Ecclesiastes, we learnt that to every thing, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven, so let us be strong in faith and in patience wait. However, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation, now is the time for us to come out of the wilderness. The life style we used to live in Egypt, some of which journeyed with us into the wilderness have to stop. Due to some of these blasphemous ways, hence our fore parents had to be purged before viewing the promised land and not all were allowed to enter in. Children of The Most High, let’s ask Almighty God to cleanse and purge us in order that we too, could come out of our wilderness. Some of us cry Lord God, but we have our own wilderness which we resides in. Now is the time to put down our puny arms of rebellion and allow Jesus Christ to enter and dwell in our hearts. Hallelujah!
Fellow travellers to eternity, we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad, and all of us would like to hear {when the question is asked, “what are these which are arrayed in white robes and whence came they”}. These are they which came out of great tribulations, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah! None of us would like to hear depart from me I know ye not, beloved you and I know, some of us always quick to put up a defense with the word, saying, we prophesied in Your name, we fed the poor, we visited the sick, but too late too late will be that cry. Let us assist our brothers and sisters to come out of their wilderness, so we can be a happy band of pilgrims singing, glorifying and praising Almighty God on our way to Holy Mount Zion. Praise the Lord!
In closing beloved, I pray that we understand God’s word this morning, although we may be living in our own wilderness, we should not give up hope, [like Job — who was afflicted with sores but overcome his wilderness due to his faith and trust in God]. We must continue to serve God in spirit and in truth, knowing on that great day we’ll walk and talk with God. Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your word this morning, we pray that it (Your Word) be a blessing for us to come out of the wilderness and flee from the wrath to come. Master we thank You for our elders of The Mystical Order, we pray that You continue to bless them in all their ways. Lord God, the young people — who are giving away their lives in the fast lane, have mercy on them King Jesus. O Great Jehovah, remember our new Reverend Mother Ann, and Reverend Captain Skeete, guide, guard and keep them for Your works sake. To all my brothers, sisters and myself, Lord we pray that goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives and that we dwell in the house of the Lord for ever, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! Amen! Amen!
God loves you so do I.
