FROM THE DESK OF THE CARDINAL

Sir Eric Alleyne

What a fellowship, what a joy divine;
Leaning on the everlasting arms,
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
CHORUS:
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms,
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

This is the day which the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it, therefore let us lift up our eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh our help, our help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Almighty God we thank you for waking us up this morning to the dawning of another day, we thank you for spared life and tender mercies, we thank you for the good times and the bad times. Lord we have all sinned and fall short of Your glory, but You still extend Your mercies towards, for this we’re very grateful and we honour, glorify, bless and uplift Your Holy name. Please mold, fashion and compel us to do Your will in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

To the Patriarch, my Archbishop, Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends, our affiliate churches in Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, St. Croix, London and Canada, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus. Family in Christ today I want to highlight and congratulate our brothers and sisters of The Spiritual Shouter Baptist Faith of Trinidad and Tobago on the 18th anniversary their Liberation Day. Praise the Lord! From a very tender age, I would hear some of my elders relate what troubles they have seen and what conflict they have passed, beloved I can speak about Trinidad and Tobago, but according to scripture we cannot enter Jerusalem just like that. My elders said in years gone by, they could not have kept an open air service (preaching by the byways), because when the authorities(the police) arrive, the Baptist people had to run or they would be locked up and imprisoned. Nowadays, due to the mercies of Almighty God by the passing of certain laws, we the Shouter Baptist can stand by the street corner with our Bible and bell and tell the nation, “how sweet the name of Jesus sounds, in a believer’s ear”. Hallelujah! Beloved, may I remind us nothing comes easy, just like how Pharaoh’s heart was harden towards releasing the children of Israel, is so past Governments were unjust towards our parents, grand parents and great grand parents.

Saints of God, we have to pray like we never prayed before, because in some countries Christian people are still sought out and persecuted for believing and worshipping the name of Jesus. We have come a long way but there are still improvements to be made, but we as children of The Most High must dwell together in unity, to reach somewhere and also to accomplish something in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! A very good example for us is brother Paul’s message to the people of Ephesus, in chapter 6. Paul warned us to be obedient to our parents in the Lord, for this is right, he (Paul) reminded us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, also to put on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Lord have mercy! If the Shouter Baptist of Trinidad and Tobago fought and overcome like the prophets of old, so too, you and I with fasting and praying, with faith believing, with God’s guidance and grace will move mountains. Hallelujah!

In closing beloved, let us remember Jesus gone to prepare a mansion for us, He promise He will come again to receive us, but our hearts, body, mind and soul must be in tune with The Holy Spirit. Let us not be found lacking, wanting nor asking for a sign, like Phillip asked Jesus, to shew us the Father and it sufficeth us. Fellow travellers to eternity, let us make our calling and election sure, because no one know the day, nor time when the Master will appear, so let us watch and pray. Almighty God we thank you for another blessing, we thank you for the Shouter Baptist Faith of Trinidad and Tobago, for when one people rejoice, we all are happy in Your name. We pray for our elders in This Mystical Order, please build them up in Your grace. King of Zion, have mercy on all countries which suffered and are going through natural disasters, Jesus remember families who lost love ones or their love ones are missing, please comfort them.  Jehovah Jireh, please provide for us, guard, guide and keep us until we meet again in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! Amen! Amen!
God loves you so do I, may the peace of God rest and abide with us all.

Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne.  LOM  OHPA  OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
